COWOW wins a voucher from the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia for the experimental development of the COWOW system, the voucher no. 77, the project number VP-L-2019/69. Within the framework of the project it is planned: preparation of biomarkers (isolates) for scanning; identification, preparation, scanning of antibiotics used for the treatment of mastitis; adaptation of software for mastitis diagnostics using the submitted data; analysis of farm milk monitoring data and identification and selection of the corresponding 30 cows (by lactation and number of somatic cells in milk); scanning of the selected group of cows with the COWOW system and on-site sampling of milk; microbiological testing of the obtained milk samples in the laboratory (bacteriology, antibiotic resistance, CMT); analysis, comparison and interpretation of data obtained by both methods; software update based on data comparison results.
